This error occurs when redeeming content in the following cases:
- The user already owns or has access to the content.
- Another user account on the same console already owns or has access to the content.
What to do
If your Nintendo Switch console has multiple users, check if another user on the console has already purchased the same content. If that is the case, the content is available for use.
- Even if the user has not downloaded the content, this error occurs if access to the content exists. Access Nintendo eShop using the account that has access to the content, then redownload it.
