Error Code: 2016-0610
Description:
- Error code 2016-0610 is received when trying to start a game on Nintendo Switch.
Additional Information:
If a microSD card is inserted into the console, the save location will default to the microSD card when downloading or redownloading software.
What to Do:
- Ensure that your console has the latest system version.
- Check for corrupt data.
- Delete the problematic software, then redownload it.
- If the error is still displayed, proceed to step 4. Otherwise, continue using the console as normal.
- Try the following:
- Remove and reinsert the microSD card.
- Format the microSD card.
- Use a different microSD card.
- Remove the microSD card and download the software directly to the console's system memory.
Situation Not Resolved:
If the error persists with multiple microSD cards, the Nintendo Switch console will need to be repaired.
