While we aren't able to provide specific assistance with making games, the following resources are available to anyone that would like to make games for Nintendo:
- The Nintendo Developer Portal:
- Nintendo has established the Nintendo Developer Portal to help guide new and established developers through the game development process. Please visit https://developer.nintendo.com/ to get started.
- This portal is currently only accepting software for Nintendo Switch.
- With the closure of Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, the portal no longer accepts new titles or DLC for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U.
- No prior development experience is required to set up an account in the Nintendo Developer Portal. However, you must be aged 18 or older.
- We are not able to provide assistance with Nintendo Developer Portal accounts. However, the portal includes FAQ and contact information that you can use to receive additional assistance.
