How to Add Funds to Nintendo eShop through the Nintendo Account Website
In this article, you'll learn how to add Nintendo eShop funds to your Nintendo Account through accounts.nintendo.com.
Important: The option to add funds in this way is available in countries in our region with Nintendo eShop.
Complete these steps
- Visit the Nintendo Account website.
- Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
- Select Funds and Payment Methods.
- In the "Funds Usable Through Your Nintendo Account" section, select Add funds.
- Re-enter your password and select OK to proceed.
- Select how you would like to add funds and follow the on-screen prompts to enter your payment information.
- You can use a credit card, a Nintendo eShop Card or a PayPal account to add the funds.
- Select the amount of funds that you would like to add.
- Note that you cannot add an amount that would cause your balance to exceed 250 EUR, 225 GBP, 350 CHF, 2000 DKK, 2500 NOK, 2600 SEK, 1000 PLN, 6250 CZK or 4500 ZAR.
- Review the funds to be added, then select Add Funds. The funds will automatically be applied to your balance and a confirmation email will be sent to your Nintendo Account email address.
